In the wake of the recent cyclone that swept through the Central Province, communities in Gampola’s rural areas faced devastating losses and urgent needs. Responding to this crisis, our team mobilized quickly to provide immediate relief to those most affected.
We successfully distributed dry ration packages to 60 families across the Kuruduwattha and Pitakanda rural areas of Gampola. These essential supplies included rice, lentils, canned goods, dried fish, and other non-perishable food items designed to sustain families during this challenging recovery period.

The remote villages of Kuruduwattha and Pitakanda were among the hardest hit by the cyclone, with many families losing their crops, livestock, and stored food supplies due to flooding and strong winds. The dry ration packs we provided offer immediate nutritional support while these resilient communities work to rebuild their lives and livelihoods.
This relief effort reflects our commitment to standing beside vulnerable communities in times of crisis. As recovery efforts continue, we remain dedicated to supporting these families through their journey toward stability and restoration.
